This activity is designed to help children who struggle making inferences by teaching them deductive reasoning using pictures. Activities also teaching them to look for the clues in riddles to make inferences. Levels of difficulty are controlled by the therapist who can adjust the number of choices OR choose more similar cards to present. Students choose between a field of 4-12 cards to choose the correct answer.
I use this activity with students who struggle with basic inferencing. The included riddles are fairly basic in order to teach the concept of deductive reasoning. I have used this product with older students with limited language skill as well as students with Autism or other developmental cognitive disabilities.
