There are 3 PDF’s included in this zip file: the dictionary itself, the cut and paste pictures, and an overview of how this item is used. The dictionary is set up to print double sided. The pages can be bound or 3-hole punched and placed into a 3-prong folder.
Left-hand pages introduce the letter, an initial sound
picture, and the name of the picture. *Pictures align with the Wonders Reading curriculum.
Right-hand pages include 6 pictures and blank spaces for those ready to add words. Vowels include 2 short vowel and 3 long vowel sound pictures.
There is a gray-scale picture in each box so that the students can “match” the cut-out picture to the correct square. The 2nd PDF file includes the pictures the students will cut apart, match to the gray-scale picture, and glue into their dictionary. There are 4 strips to a page, with each student needing only one strip.
