This resource is a Google Form and Doc linked to an interactive map on the life in the concentration camps in World War 2.
The Nazis imprisoned millions of Eastern European Jews and other people they viewed as “enemies of the state” in concentration camps. Before the Nazis implemented the “Final Solution,” the camps were primarily forced labor camps. After December 1941, some camps were converted into killing centers to facilitate the “Final Solution.”
Students will analyze the interactive map to learn more about the life in the concentration camps. Students will answer the 12 reading comprehension questions on the form. Next, students will answer the 4 short answer questions on the doc. This activity has worked very well in pairs. This is an excellent enrichment activity.
