I have adapted many of the activities in my more traditional geometry unit to a more interactive layout with foldable activities. All pages are in black and white for easy printing/copying. These activities are Common Core aligned for 1st grade.
Partitioning shapes (6 pages): Partition circles and squares, and partition various shapes into halves and fourths. Folding is only done along the hexagon, not along the individual shapes.
Shape sorting (6 pages): sort by number of sides, whether the shape will slide or roll, and by 2D/3D
Distinguishing attributes of shapes (9 pages): Triangles, rectangles, and ovals
Composite shapes (4 pages): Make new 2D shapes from provided 2D shapes.
How many sides, how many faces foldables (2 pages)
