Description
This is a 136 page interactive notebook that focusses on the concept of letter recognition of uppercase and lowercase letters. It is a great resource for morning work, literacy stations, or small group RTI.
There are 3 different activities:
-Students are given letters and they must sort them according to which letter they are working on for the day. There is an uppercase and lowercase page for each letter. They are separated every 4 letters by a flip book activity. I normally have students work a lowercase and uppercase letter Monday through Thursday and the flip book as a review on Friday.
-The next activity is the letter flip book. Every 4 letters students are given a review flip book where they must sort the lowercase letters and match them with the corresponding uppercase letter. This is what I normally use to review on Fridays.
-The last activity students are given a flap that has either an uppercase or lowercase letter and they must WRITE the corresponding lowercase or uppercase letter underneath it.
This is great for the beginning of the school year and should supply over 2 months worth of work depending on how it is used.
I have a free sample of this product in my store so feel free to check it out before purchasing.
