Use this page to illustrate the meanings of and differences between Me gusta, Te gusta, and Le gusta without resorting to the L1. Included also are two sliders to illustrate how to use Me gusta and Te gusta in context.
Students simply cut along all the dotted lines then cut out the slider boxes themselves (not the food/activity strips!). They will fold the slider boxes in half and cut out the gray rectangles and snip the dotted lines so they can thread the food/activity strips through for practice!
I also have students list the name of these common foods and activities to the side of each slider and then interview their classmates about what they like or don't like as they use the sliders to form questions. They record responses on a T-chart on the opposing page to practice using Le gusta!
