I love using interactive notebook pages in my classroom. I have anchor charts in my room for both of these concepts, but having a reference the students can return to in their own notebooks has been a very effective strategy for me. I made this set for two skills I use the most for my class.
Citing Evidence - Included in this download is a student interactive notebook page to glue into notebooks. This should fit into a composition size notebook. I have my students glue the reference sheet in one side of their notebook and use the opposite side to practice this skill. There is also a set of bookmarks with the same information for students to use as they read.
Jotting Your Thinking - I use Harvey & Goudvis Comprehension Toolkit. This page goes right along with the first few lessons in the Toolkit. I model how I "track my thinking" by taking notes on post its. I introduce the coding system for the post its, such as "L = new learning", "? = question I have" This download includes an interactive notebook page to be used as described above, as well as student bookmarks to use as the read as a reminder to jot down their thoughts.
Both the interactive notebook pages could be enlarged to be used as anchor charts.
Thanks for your interest in my TpT store.
