How many pages do you "waste" with an Interactive Notebooks (INB) table of contents?
The table of contents is a valuable tool in teaching kids the importance of organization, but can take up valuable real estate in the INB. Use this space saving table of contents to limit the number of pages needed for a table of contents and maximize the number of pages available for student learning.
Instead of using multiple pages in the INB for the table of contents, use one page ONLY! By creating a flip page and layering a new table of contents page on top as needed, you save space.
This handout has space to record the titles of 24 INB pages. It is formatted to fit in a 8.5"x11" spiral notebook and allows space for students to add their own title to the top of the page.
