This is a large (9 stations) stations unit that can also be used in whole class teaching or stations.
It is applicable for any subject.
Students complete tasks that introduce them to nine different interactive notebooking outputs while learning about the value of creating interactive notebooks.
Students are encouraged to be creative, think, analyze, and organize.
Comic Strip: Students create a comic that emphasizes the importance of neatness and organization.
Venn Diagram: Students complete a Venn Diagram that compares and contrasts traditional textbooks with interactive notebooks.
Journal Entry: Students study photos of historical notebooks and write a journal entry about one.
Newspaper Article: Students watch a short video about INBs, then write a newspaper article about it.
Haiku: Students write a Haiku poem about inputs and outputs.
Wanted Poster: Students look at sample notebooks and create a wanted for the supplies needed.
3-2-1 Summary: Students read an article about the importance of color and complete a 3-2-1 Summary.
Quiz: Students create a quiz about INBs.
Reflection: Students write a reflection about what they have learned throughout the previous 8 stations.
