... This is a 4 minute upbeat 'doodle' video to introduce interactive notebooks to your class. This is a video you might share with your students the day of or the day before you begin setting up a notebook. It might also be a great little video to show parents at open house if you are going to be using interactive notebooks in your classroom. It's a great way to help them better understand the concept.
Because this video is upbeat music with flashy words (but paused long enough for kids to read them), it is probably most suitable for upper elementary. Some reading is involved.
This video is not a step by step on how to make them. It is simply a fun 'hook'/attention grabber to get them excited about making their notebook. It will tell students what interactive notebooks are, explain to students they will be decorating them/making them their own/special, shows supplies they will be using, and gives examples of some flippables, etc. It ends by telling them they will need to listen to their teacher for directions on how to set up their notebooks.
