Interactive Notebooks are super engaging and lots of fun to make. I have designed all of my interactive notebook pages to be revisited and enjoyed multiple times. I know how engaging technology can be for today's tech savvy kids, so I try to incorporate it whenever possible. All of my Interactive Notebook sets also include a "Techie Twist". There are templates to use with numbers 5-20 and a game or lesson to use with your projector or smartboard. This set works on number bonds with a fun winter theme.
Sweet facts - Use this door to record facts for each number. Also great for recognizing related facts and doubles!
Fact Family Mini-Book - add a mini-book for all fact families for the number you are working on.
Stirring Up Facts - Pair up the two parts that create a whole number as you add marshmallows to your hot cocoa. This interactive element can be used again and again.
Story Problems - I love these pages because they are very so easy to vary. You can record numbers for kids to solve or they can fill-in their own numbers. Three are pages for addition, subtraction, and blank pages for students to write their own.
Marshmallow Maniplulatives - This page includes an envelope to store manipulatives and a mug to "hide" marshmallows in as students play a fun part/part/whole game.
Number Bond PowerPoints - This set includes a separate file for each number 5-20. Each number bond combination is shown for each number. WOWZA! That's a lotta PowerPoint! I like to use dry erase boards with my kids. They write the part/part/whole model as we go through the numbers.
