In the wake of the increasing tension and violence between the African American community and law enforcement, this in the interactive activity packet I developed to coincide with my lessons for Week 1 of the Counter-cultural Revolution Unit. The unit has been created to draw comparisons between the 1960's counter-cultural movement to Black Lives Matter of today.
Our Driving Question For The Unit:
How can we, as living Historians, show future generations that important social change can happen in our country through counter-cultural movements?
There is a PPT I developed that goes with this packet and will guide you through each of the activities in order. The PPT has hyperlinks to video clips, songs, and any other resource you may need to complete this weekly unit.
