My students absolutely loved doing this project! It allowed them to research and write about one of their favorite animals in a very interactive and memorable way. My students loved the hands on activities that were needed to complete this informative and cute flip book for penguins. I loved that the different options were able to help all my students participate and go more in-depth in this fun inter-curricular project. Fine motor skills, reading, science, and writing skills are all incorporated in this project!
*printables for all pages of the penguin flip book. There are two different options for the middle page (type of penguins or life cycle of a penguin) and the last page (all about penguins fill in the blank page or penguin themed writing page).
*instructions and pictures to help you set up the different pages of the flip book for this fun craft and learning opportunity.
*Each page is already set up for correlating construction paper size that it needs to be mounted on.
*informative text page (B/W & COLORED OPTION) that students can use to research penguins or to help fill in the penguin fact page found on the last page of the flip book.
*all templates for the penguin craft that can be anchored on the back of the penguin flip book. This is a super cute addition to the flip book that can be completed if there is time but doesn’t have to be added to complete the penguin flip book.
*Please follow me on TPT to find many different activities that can be used in your great classrooms:
*all graphics, fonts, and borders are credited on the last page of the pack.
