I created this activity as a way to work on pronouns and following directions. To set the activity up, print and laminate all 3 pages. Only cut out the pictures on page 4. Page 5 will serve as stationary page and a way to organize the pictures so you don’t lose them. I attached Velcro to my set.
This activity was purposely left open ended so you can use it in many different ways. Here are a few suggestions:
Receptive pronouns: give the same picture to both the boy and girl. Prompt, “Show me he has a pencil” or “Show me she has a flower.”
Expressive pronouns: Give items to the boy and girl and let the child tell you about the picture: “He has a flower” or “They have monsters.”
Following directions: Instruct the child to give items to boy and girl figures. This works great for both 1 and 2 step directions!
