Description

Interactive read alouds are a great way to teach important reading comprehension skills while having the students stay focused and involved. When teaching with this method, students will be listening, thinking, talking with a partner, writing, sharing and so much more. Each week there will be one main standard to be focused on but other standards will also be tied in just as a brief introduction of that skill or a review.

This is a free sample of a week from from my interactive read aloud lessons for 1st and 2nd grade. These lessons were designed for a 1st grade classroom but could easily be used with 2nd grade as well.
