Description

Interactive Bulletin Boards are a FUN and FUNCTIONAL tool for your classroom or hallway. This social-emotional learning (SEL) bulletin board kit contains everything you will need to create an engaging video game-style bulletin board that your learners will love!

Universally designed to allow all students access to essential social-emotional learning skills such as emotional regulation & coping strategies. This resource is best suited for upper elementary or early middle school students.

Product Information:

This SEL bulletin board kit includes a header, border, student directions, emotion picture cards, and strategy tear-off strips.

Print and laminate all the static pieces (header, border, instructions, and emotion cards) and attach them to a bulletin board or other hard surface.

Then, make multiple copies (8-10) of the coping strategy cards and stack/staple them onto corresponding question brick cards. Cut slits on the dotted lines to make it easier for your learners to grab and go. Students can use the blank cards to customize their feeling and strategy if they don’t see one that applies.

How-To-Use:

The general format for displaying this bulletin board is up to you. However, I have included a few picture examples in the preview.

To use the student will:

  • Visit the bulletin board "Power-Up Station"
  • Identify their current emotional state
  • Choose & tear off one of the four strategies
  • Try the strategy & determine if it was helpful
  • Repeat the process until regulated
