Product Description
This booklet would be a great addition to your daily literacy centers as an independent and individualized sight word activity. These packets can be customized to suit your centers and your students. Depending on your time allotment for centers and students' individual goals, the packet can be modified accordingly. There is a great deal of teacher and student choice woven into this activity. Teachers can provide the list of three sight words for the packet or ask that students pick three words to review from the sight word wall whether it be a class word wall or a personal one. It could also be used to supplement the introduction of new sight words by providing a little independent practice time with these words following the teaching of them. There are a number of ways in which this booklet can be utilized and the activities within are easy to explain as well as engaging for students.

The sight word activities within the booklet include:
*Rainbow Writing (each sight word has its own column to write the word in all the colors of the rainbow)
*Mix and Fix (write the words in the small boxes, one letter per box, and then cut out the letters and mix them all up to go back and spell each word in the rectangles above, gluing the letters down as you spell the word)
*Spin and Write (write each of you three sight words in a space on the spinner, use a paperclip and pencil to spin and whatever word is landed upon, read and write the word on the left)
*Marker, Pencil, and Crayon (each word has its own row so that you can write the word once in marker, once in pencil, and then once in crayon going across)
*Sentence Writing (use each word in a sentence and draw a picture to match)
