Description
This set of "Pop Art-style" coloring sheets features a variety of Summer-themed images that make a great accompaniment to your End-of-the-Year and/or Summer celebrations.
There are 4 interactive pages and 4 pattern-filled pages included in this activity - appropriate for all ages! Students add bold patterns to different summer symbols and then color their designs to produce a Pop Art-styled summer picture!
I have included two writing prompts in this lesson to help make this art activity more aligned with the common core standards. As one happy teacher commented, "I love that I can incorporate artwork in CCSS using these student-designed pictures. These pictures lend themselves to being a springboard for the writing process - addressing Core Standards. Very innovative!! Thank you!"
