A word wall is present in most primary classrooms. It can be a powerful instructional tool to strengthen content vocabulary or concepts if the students use it. My students weren't using the traditional one posted on the wall in my classroom.
I made this one to be interactive. I copied the letters and words on cardstock and laminated them, since I knew kids would be handling them.
I have them on binder rings, hanging on command hooks under my white board--very accessible for my first graders. They can grab a letter to just practice reading the words or use it to copy from in their writing.
This set includes:
*Title: Word Wall
*All 26 letters of the alphabet (I copied the vowels on a different color of cardstock than the consonants).
*220 Dolch Words
*Blank cards for you to add additional words to your wall.
