✎Fractured Fairy Tales
Out of all of the products that I have made on TpT, this one is DEFINITELY my favorite!! It took me two and a half months to make and I am so happy to be able to share it with all of you. I spent hours upon hours focusing on the details of this project, in order to provide the highest quality product that was simple to use. So what is it all about?
This product was designed so that your students could have seamless interactions with reading and writing, while using their critical thinking skills. This product GIVES STUDENTS A CHOICE
of what they want to write, as well as DETAILED DIRECTIONS
and SAMPLE PAGES
that take your students step-by-step through each task!
What does this mean to the teacher? Well, a great deal! Being that this center is set up as a learning aid, with all of the tools to aid in student success, you have MORE TIME to spend on small group activities, once again individualizing instruction! Here is what you will get with this product:
***PLEASE BE SURE TO VIEW THE PREVIEW FOR DETAILS OF THE FOLLOWING!!
•34 Interactive Word Wall Cards
•34 Mini Writing Companions that give your students a brief look at what each task will require them to do. These will accompany your Word Wall Cards on your bulletin board.
•155 Direction, Sample, and Student Work pages -- offering various formatting and line options for each level of learner.
•2 pages that are Student Writing Center Trackers that allow your students to keep track of what they have been doing at the center, when they have been doing it, a place for the teacher to sign-off that it was completed, and a place to grade their work, if you so choose. I also left a place for both teacher and student comments to allow for communication.
•2 "Writing Center: Tickets of Concern" choices, which allow your student to write down what they were working on that day and the frustrations that they may have faced. There is a place for teacher input on the one page form, and a simpler version is located on the quadrant form. The teacher will give the form back to that particular student that will have a time in which they can conference, again focusing on individualized instruction.
•6 different printable label choices -- Please note that these are to be used with the Avery 5160 Label Template.
I show you exactly how I set it up in my classroom, what I purchased, and I take you through the steps to set it up in your own. I lead you through the steps of student participation in this center, as well.
Here are the topics of focus (with detailed directions for each):
