Interactive hands-on Christmas themed activities©
The packet comes in different levels and progresses from easiest to hardest. These Christmas themed interactive activities are designed for children from 18 months to 5 years old who will have fun while learning some basic concepts needed before they start school.
1st activity (pages 1 and 2) – matching activity: print out the two pages, cut out the pieces from the second page, laminate and attach a transparent Velcro tape (hook and loop) on decorations. Match the same colour or shape. This is a great visual discrimination game for toddlers from 18 months or even earlier. It also teachers them basic colours and vocabulary
2nd activity (pages 3 and 4) – matching activity: see instructions for the first activity. In this activity, a child needs to match the quantity of decorations on each tree with the corresponding number on page 3. It teaches little children the connection between a number (written or spoken) and its quantity. For children aged 18 months to 3 years old.
3rd activity (pages 5 and 6) – matching activity: see instructions for the first activity. Match the number and the number of trees. Suitable for children aged 18 and up.
