Description

Use this NO PREP 24-page Ebook about a cute snake named Sam to teach your students about what an interdental lisp is and why it happens (and so much more!)

No printing, no cutting, and no laminating!!! As you read the story, click the arrow to advance to the next page. ENJOY!

This book was written to teach students that when their speech contains misarticulations, it can truly affect the way others understand them - whether it’s an interdental lisp or any other error.

This story has done a great deal in developing my students’ self-awareness of their particular error(s), and Sam has become a character that they can relate to. The story also serves to reinforce the importance of practicing new speech skills at home (like Sam did) and to reassure students that speech therapy can help them. OH, and it’s fun!

If a hissing, forked tongue snake like Sam can correct his lisp, anyone can! I hope this story brings about some great discussion in your therapy room.

This download can also be printed, bound, and used as a traditional printed book.
