Make learning fun while students discover directions/map skills and play a game at the same time. This worksheet is a simplistic way for students to gain understanding of the cardinal and intermediate directions. Students will connect dots using directional clues. In the end, they will complete an outline of an identifiable state. Students can work independently and gain great understanding of directions. For extra credit, one could assign students to create their own puzzle/game to share with their peers. This was a big hit for my students!
Hint: Have students draw a compass rose at top of page.
