This packet contains a 3-guideline anchor chart to be posted in your classroom, a worksheet to supplement one of the guidelines, and an explanation of how I plan to present each guideline.
I created this packet because I plan on creating a Twitter account for my class this year. In our social media-driven world, I feel that this is something students will get excited about and have discovered many ideas for use in the classroom as a learning tool. By the end of the school year, I plan on letting the students handle most of the posting. However, before that can happen, I feel it is imperative to discuss some of the precautions to be taken when sharing thoughts/opinions online and the gravity of doing so. This mini-lesson will aid in that discussion.
