Product Description
In this interactive foldable, students solve 3 division problems in context and need to interpret the remainders of division problems with 4-digit dividends and 2-digit divisors with whole numbers. These problems focus on 1-ignoring the remainder, 2-using the remainder to round the quotient, and 3-using the remainder as the answer. After studying the three types, students can practice this new skill by sorting through 18 division contexts to determine the action of the remainder. These contexts can be glued into the journal, and used as extra solving practice. CCSS MATH 5.NBT.B.6
