The Interrogative-Asking Sentence Sorting activity gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of what a correct and incorrect interrogative sentence is. Students read sentence cards and must place them in two categories "correct" and "incorrect". Students can then use the activity sheet provided to make each incorrect sentence interrogative. This hands-on activity allows students to look closely for sentences that start with capital letters and end with question marks. Cards can be laminated for continued use. This activity can be used in centers or whole group. Bland word sheet provided to write sentences that fit your student’s needs. Activity sheet is provided for students to complete after sorting.
