Product Description
This is a brief lesson to help students realize times when they need to interrupt a lesson and times when it is not okay to interrupt a lesson. It also gives them the correct action to take in an instance when they need to interrupt (ex. runny nose = get a tissue). My kindergartners really need explicit instructions for each type of incident, so I imagine other kindergarten or preschool teacher deals with the same issues. The last page of this power point is to be used as a worksheet (or printed as a poster) to review when/how to interrupt. (The hand signal on the restroom slide is the sign language signal for restroom. I have used it for years and it works well.)
