What is Santa really like? Is he a hard working jolly soul, or a lazy old guy who only works one day a year?

Students are asked to interview this famous Christmas icon, and discover the truth behind his jolly façade. They must let their loyal audience know what Santa is really like.

This package of resources contains everything students need to complete an Interview with Santa. All resources are classroom tested and include detailed instructions and creative handouts. Very little teacher prep in needed – simply print and teach!

All resources included in this package can be fit seamlessly into your existing curriculum, and can easily be aligned to the common core standards.

This creative and engaging package includes the following:

”Santa Interview”: Student Instructions: Two pages of step by step instructions are included, explaining exactly what students need to do to complete the activity.

”Santa Interview” Questions: Three pages of interview questions are included. Students pretend they are an interviewer interviewing Santa, and must answer the questions in the way they think Santa would answer.

”Santa Interview” Paragraph Summaries: Students must summarize the information they have gathered in their interview questions to create three paragraph summaries focusing on his daily life, common misunderstandings, and hopes and dreams. Good copy paper for the summaries is included.

”Santa Interview” Favorite Pastimes: Students use the included template to illustrate and describe one of Santa`s hidden favorite pastimes.
