This is an interactive calendar for classrooms with an interwrite board. The calendar contains the following pages:
-Today is, yesterday was, tomorrow will be... calendar
-Today's date is...
-Number of the day (students will write the number in expanded form, show the number in tally marks, write the number using dollar and cent notation, show the number using coins, show the number on a hundreds chart, and build the number using base ten blocks)
-Today's weather (students will mark the weather on a thermometer and chart the weather on a calendar using graphics that represent--cloudy, partly cloudy, rainy, snowy, stormy, sunny, and windy) On this page there is also a link setup to a local weather website where you can check the local temperature without having to leave the interwrite program (directions for changing the link to customize to your needs below).
My students LOVE getting to use this interactive calendar and there is just nothing like this created yet for those who use interwrite boards.
There are calendars for August 2015-July 2016. You can find other calendars online that work for your needs and continue to use this format for years to come.
In order to edit the link to weather website, click on the picture of the rainbow and cloud and there is a button on the bottom middle of the page with three links linked together. Click on it. It will pull up something that says "Add/Edit Link," when you click on that it will give you an opportunity to paste in your own html to link to the page. You will need to edit the links on all the weather pages.
