Engage and challenge your students to think critically during Chapters 10-15 of Jon Krakauer's Into the Wild.
Chapter 10: Students will analyze Krakauer's attitude toward Chris and how the information on Chris has been presented to the readers.
Chapters 11-13: Students will complete a graphic organizer and write a response to the following question: Was Chris justified in leaving his family and going into the wild without a trace?
Chapters 14-15: Students will closely read and annotate an excerpt from Krakauer's experience of climbing the Devils Thumb and then answer essential questions.
