Product Description
Into the Wild by John Krakauer is my favorite book of all time! It is nonfiction, similar to Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. (Similar in that Krakauer presents a nonfiction tale artfully so it feels more like fiction than nonfiction.) I digress.

For sale is the essay that I assign at the end of the unit. The document presents three choices ranging in difficulty.

The first choice involves music, too. It asks students to analyze Eddie Vedder's song lyrics composed for the movie soundtrack.

The second choice asks students about what made Chris heroic or unique.

The third choice asks students to research two of Chris' favorite authors' philosophies and connect those to Chris' own beliefs.

The document contains these three choices explained fully.
