This social story introduces your student to the concept of anxiety. We explain that it is a feeling, but you experience it in your body, in your feelings and in your actions. It is emphasized that all people experience anxiety and that can help you perform at your best. It's when you have too much anxiety that is makes you stop wanting to do the things that you like to do or when it is anxiety over things that are irrational. We use a popular tv show theme to increase attending and interest for our students.
