Product Description
This is a great math activity for talking about families. I read The Family Book by Todd Parr and discuss differences in our families. Then have your students draw pictures of all of the people and pets that live in their home. They will write the name of that person/animal and the number of feet they have.

Students will then draw a picture of their family in the house and add up how many feet there are altogether. Once they write the number in the box, students will come up and tape their house onto the wall. You can prepare a long strip of paper on the wall that has numbers 4 up to 20. Students will tape their house on the number of feet that their house has.

Discuss: Whose house has the most feet? The least? Why?
