What is engineering? What does it take to be an engineer? The Engineering 101 Career Exploration Challenge is a self-guided distance learning career exploration mini course for students to learn what engineering is, explore careers in engineering, and practice engineering skills through hands-on activities. Delivered in interactive GoogleSlides and PDF formats, including:

1. 'what is engineering' video and reflection question

2. 'who are engineers' article and video series with reflection questions

3. fields of engineering Canva presentation (7 slides) with interactive online engineering career exploration resources, each with virtual job shadow youtube video, career information sheet in English and Spanish, and fun career focused activity to test drive the 4 main fields of engineering (mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering); also includes reflection question
