This is a game I created to review classifying real numbers with my high school algebra students. The game has four categories. The questions in the first category ask students to identify which of four numbers is rational (or irrational). The questions in the second category ask students to determine which categories (natural, whole, integers, rational, irrational) are associated with various fractions and decimals. The questions in the third category ask students to identify the result of combining various rational and/or irrational numbers. The fourth category provides students with 8 numbers and asks them to identify into which categories the numbers fit. The questions in the fifth category ask students to add and subtract positive and negative integers. Final jeopardy gives students a standardized test style question.
When playing the jeopardy game, click on the blue circle to return to the category screen.
Answers are written in the notes under each slide. The answers cannot be viewed while the game is in play.
