### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a double-sided fill-in-the blank notes page on radicals: perfect square roots and cube roots.

First, the student defines what a radical is. Then, they define square root, write down their perfect squares and work some examples. Next, they work some examples with a number multiplied by the square root. (All square roots are perfect squares).

Finally, they define cube root, write down their perfect cubes and work a few examples. All of this is teacher led.

The back side offers 16 more examples for guided practice. Problems include mainly perfect square roots, a few perfect cube roots and one 4th root to be found (just for fun and to get them thinking!). Finally, a quadratic formula example is provided to apply the concept of taking a perfect square root. This example can be omitted if it is something that you haven't covered yet. Key included.

This is a great double sided notes page on introducing the concept and before moving on to simplifying radicals. Give it a try!

All of my products are color-coded by topic. To find more products on Radicals, please return to my store and look for the rose pink background.
