This PowerPoint illustrates, both visually and related to degree measure, acute, right, and obtuse angles. This presentation is intended for an elementary audience and uses a discovery approach as well as real-world examples of architecture and other pictures to examine acute, right, and obtuse angles. While most of the PowerPoint is instructional and includes three example questions, the last four slides contain pictures, primarily architectural. These pictures could be used for students to come up and point out the different types of angles in pictures, facilitate further discussion and spiral other topics, or other uses.
