Dear teacher (parent)!

I hope this resource will help you make math lessons more practical and useful for the child. You could use these materials for teaching in the lesson and as homework for the children. You can choose whether to use all the stuff in the lesson or send some of them home for independent work. If you are a parent, complete the tasks in stages, at a time convenient for you.

What's included in This Resource

1. Counting activities (1-10) - Manipulative mats

Count to tell the number of objects. Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.

One-to-one correspondence when counting to 10;

Represent a number of objects with the written numeral 1-10 and keep track of what they are counting.

2. Matching Activities

Count and Match;

Cut and Paste activities;

3. Subitizing activities. Subitizing is recognizing quantities without having to count.

This resource includes about 100 worksheets to practice!

Differentiation. Each lesson includes opportunities to expand and meet the needs of learners at all levels. To make the teaching accessible both for toddlers who are getting to know numbers and for children who already have numeracy skills.

3 levels of difficulty of tasks

A) Basic (Sun)

B) Standard (Flower)

S) Advanced (Star)

Always complete tasks from 1 difficulty level - Sunny. Further Flower, and only if these tasks have completed - go to the Star.

This small success helps the child move on with confidence, increases self-esteem, and sets up for success.

Why do you need it? For the child to master and merge the acquired knowledge, practice is necessary. That is why practical exercises are an integral part of the course. When a child completes tasks on his own, he remembers and understands better.

How to prepare materials before the lesson?

1) These Worksheets easy to Prep. Just print and go!

2) Doing activities children will have the possibility to use various objects for counting.
For example stones, buttons, pompons, toys - what you have at home or in the classroom. Using manipulatives develops not only math skills but also sensory and fine-motor skills. It promotes a better understanding of the subject and improves concentration.

3) Also, for practical tasks, you will need colored pencils, glue sticks, scissors.
