Students are required to locate the word containing a prefix (un- is the only prefix used) from a sentence, break the word apart, and define the word for 4 sentences with related pictures. Sentence frames are provided for answers to support language development. For another 4 words, students are expected to break apart the word, define using knowledge of word parts, and use in their own sentence.
-Independent check is provided for students to define a prefix and the prefix Ã¢ï¿½ï¿½unÃ¢ï¿½ï¿½. The final check is the same format as the practice- locate a word containing a prefix in the sentence, break apart, and define.
