PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This folder contains everything you need (13 documents) to build the foundation for a positive middle school classroom environment during the first week of school, plus a second week for theatre teachers! Outlined daily lesson plans - that administration loves and a substitute could follow - plus objectives following the National Standards for Theatre, and some Literacy First Strategies. It also includes a power point presentation that follows the unit's lesson plans, guidelines and procedure posters, KWL & t-shirt worksheet, theatre vocabulary pretest, quiz, sign in/out sheet, examples of first letter home to parent, discipline worksheet, and alternate activities.

It includes musical examples, introducing students to "Oklahoma," and "The Sound of Music." This unit is inspired by Harry Wong, various wonderful theatrical/educational writers, amazing teachers, and by my adventurous students from 11 years of experience.

You will only need to edit a small amount, like add your name, your dates and your emergency procedure locations.
