Use this lesson as an intro, as well as a review for learning about Cubism. Introduction to Cubism names artists associated with the movement, highlighting Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso as its founders.
There are assessments within the presentation, where they identify Cubist art, respond to questions after reading to check for understanding and identifying characteristics of Cubist art. Students have opportunities to read aloud, developing vocabulary.
This lesson lasts about 20 to 25 minutes, allowing students to begin practicing on developing a Cubist work of art afterwards.
Try the Pablo Picasso Digital Task Cards at my store to integrate these two lessons.
The presentation was created in PowerPoint 2010 version.
