These powerpoint presentations are intended to give students the basic information needed to then explore the content themselves. They are structured to get students to start asking questions about the content and spur conversations as a class and within small groups about the content. The presentation is straight forward and to the point explaining basic vocabulary and concepts in words that all students are able to understand. (These PowerPoints are great for EL and SPED learners) Giving students a simple information backbone they are then able to draw their own conclusions and discover the information on their own through reading, group activities, and lab assignments. These PpwerPoints do not structure every student thought but allows them to take the basic and explore on their own they do not produce cookie cutter response but lively discussion about the topic.
