This product is geared to introduce data tables to younger students. It walks students through the parts of a table: title, labels, and data.
There are interactive questions built into the pages, as well as an open-ended activity at the end. On the last page students are asked to identify what is missing from the given table, create their own labels to accurately describe the data being shared, and then survey their class to complete the data in the table.
There are two versions of the booklet (both in the PDF) for differentiation. The first includes a more in-depth description of the parts of a table with a definitions page paired with a page that visually points out and discusses the parts of a table. Whereas the second version is shorter, and geared more for standardized test review or introducing tables in a fun, interactive way.
