Exponents are one of those lessons that my students, time and time again, just seem to love to learn. In the Introduction to Exponents lesson, students are introduced to the parts of an exponent, how an exponent works and how it benefits them when working with numbers.

The lesson included in this download can be used to help teach your students in whole group or small groups. Each of the activities (input and output) are interactive which will keep your students engaged.
