Students complete 20 tasks while being up and moving in the classroom to demonstrate what they learned about landforms, latitude and longitude, cardinal directions, map keys, seasons, weather, absolute location, climate zones, and more! The first page has teacher information and the second page has the tasks for students to complete.
Sample tasks include:
--Turn towards the west and take 4 steps.
--Using your arms, show the direction of longitude lines.
--If you were the Earth, which climate zone would be about where your knees are?
--Rotate and tilt on your axis as if the northern hemisphere were experiencing summer while you revolve around the desk closest to you.
--You cross the strait and see an archipelago ahead. Draw what it looks like on the white board.
