Are you tired of the same old lessons that you pull from a textbook or online. Is it stressful coming up with an engaging, relevant lesson for each topic?
*** FULL POWERPOINT LESSON *** TEACH EXPONENTS IN ONE MATH PERIOD ***
1. Thirteen slides that go through exponents one step at a time from not knowing what the word exponent is to solving exponents. There are multiple opportunities to check for understanding. Activities are seamlessly interwoven throughout the lesson to engage and keep students active.
2. Teacher notes on each slide. These notes tell you what to do for each part of the lesson and include keys to making the lesson a success. (the notes are in the comments section for each slide for easy pairing and timing)
Just download the PowerPoint and print out the slides with teacher notes. All of you have to do is read through and watch the students get it on the first lesson.
It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you have individual whiteboards to use in the classroom for the activities. If you do not have individual whiteboards you can make your own out of page protectors and white printer paper.
If you LOVE to keep kids active and interested this lesson is for you.
