Morphology is the study of the Latin and Greek bases and affixes which comprise more than 90% of language. It goes well beyond the required Common Core standards. This approach combines vocabulary, spelling and reading strategies. Words are learned as high use meaningful units which are continually reinforced keeping the retention rate high. This increased understanding of our language transfers to better reading comprehension. Morphs are constant; if they change, it is by a few dependable spelling rules.
