This is an final step of my introduction to oil paint unit, an oil painting inspired by a specific style of an art movement. Students have 4 weeks to work on a larger scale, in depth piece, that combines with their vision with insipration from another srtist.. It is adaptable to a smaller scale, shorter lesson.

This painting project not only tests their understanding of oil painting techniques, it's also an introduction to art history and how to research art movements.
