Product Description
An introductory worksheet to using PEEL (Point, Evidence, Explanation, Link) to write a detailed Literature Essay.

This worksheet uses Dickinson's poem "Because I Could Not Stop For Death" (*from the IGCSE 0486 Syllabus) which students annotate and then complete a series of topic statements to create PEEL paragraphs in a scaffolded poetry analysis essay.

The poem can be used as a stand alone choice or as part of the IGCSE 0486 syllabus.

The resource includes a choice of bright PEEL posters which teachers can print for classroom display.
