Description
This Introduction to Photography lesson is designed as one of the first lessons to teach in a photo course. It serves as a way for students to capture a piece of their lives in a more intentional way. They are also introduced to the first part of the history of photography, basics of Photoshop and Lightroom, and basic vocabulary associated with photography.
The students are tasked with taking photographs of their world for the project. In addition to the project they participate in class discussions, artist research, and a critique.
